vets ladders pee

If you’re on the Facebook (and who isn’t, these days? It’s better than reading blogs for wasting time at work) you’re familiar with its bazillion apps - those little widgets that allow you to “send” your Internet friends virtual items like cocktails, flowers, records and even adorable cyber-puppies. Now, via the social-networking black hole, you can remind your friends of the more irritating parts of Carnival via the app “Crappy Mardi Gras Gifts.” If you feel like dampening somebody’s Carnival cheer, why not send along one of the options pictured above: “Bonnabel and Vets,” perhaps, or “View-Blocking Ladders on Parade Routes.” Or perhaps you prefer something in the line of “Some Dude Urinating In Public?”

FYI - The first picture is actually at the corner of Causeway and Veterans, probably taken from the Causeway overpass. The Bonnabel-Veterans intersection has more trees and not so much concrete and wire.

I definitely concur that ladders anywhere on the parade route, and their surly squatters should be banished from participating in Mardi Gras.

And if caught in pissing in public in Orleans Parish you will wind up spending the rest of your Mardi Gras at Tulane and Broad.
