Very little news yet except what the AP is reporting:
The Coast Guard has closed a 12-mile stretch of the Mississippi River at New Orleans after a collision between a tugboat and a tanker….
Michael Wilson, president of Laurin Maritime (America) Inc. in Houston, says there is not any leak from the double-hulled tanker Tintomara, which is loaded with biodiesel and styrene.
Young says a barge split in half, and other vessels are holding it in position.
They say there were no injuries, but no word yet on the exact position of the crash.
