The Times-Picayune reports tonight that beleaguered Mandeville mayor Eddie Price got the same special treatment that he did on the Causeway back on another occasion in 2006 — complete with no sobriety test and a cop-chauffeur ride back to Mandeville City Hall.

Want to ask Price about his driving habits, or perhaps get a state troopers’ perspective? You’ll get your chance this weekend, as Price is scheduled to appear at the 30th annual Mandeville Seafood Festival, where he’ll take a turn in…the Louisiana State Troopers’ Association’s dunk tank.
