It isn’t quite the Super Bowl, but there will certainly be no lack of flash and hoopla when the NBA All-Star Game comes to town this week.

On the food front, a high-dollar tasting event with retired NBA players
is on the agenda for Friday, Feb. 15. Those willing to part with $150 per ticket gain admission to the Westin-Canal Place hotel where some big name New Orleans chefs, like John Besh, will serve food alongside some of the star players of NBA seasons past.
